AquaMarine Diving - Bali's PADI Open Water Dive Course (BALI)
Now is the time to do it! You’ve always wanted to, haven’t you?
Come on – join us at AquaMarine Diving – Bali and dive into PADI’s Open Water Diver Course or Junior Open Water Diver course.
Through the PADI Open Water course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive theory, equipment and techniques, over the course of 3 days.
The certification is recognised worldwide and is earned by completing five Knowledge Development (class) sessions. Five Confined Water (pool) sessions where you’ll practice scuba skills, and learn to breathe underwater as well as get used to your scuba gear. Then it’s time for your four Open Water (sea) dives on Bali’s beautiful north east coast reefs and even a wreck!
Your Open Water Dives
AquaMarine recommends doing your Open Water dives in Tulamben Bay (we believe this is where you’ll really fall in love with diving) or in Blue Lagoon just outside Padangbai on Bali’s east coast rather than at the inferior reefs, with more difficult conditions, in the south of Bali. You may also choose to overnight near the dive site of your choice.
Because the course is performance-based, you get as much time as you need to practise your new skills prior to certification. We generally schedule three days. Above all, AquaMarine’s instructors will ensure that not only is your course low-stress and safe, but you will have great fun, too.
Credit from Discover Scuba or Scuba Diver
As a certified PADI Open Water Diver or PADI Junior Open Water Diver you have the freedom to dive independently with a buddy. If you have already tried a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience or are PADI Scuba Diver certified, check with us to see how credit from these courses may apply to the Open Water Diver course.
Studying for the Course
You can begin studying the diving theory as soon as you want, in the comfort of your own home, at your own pace. Be fully-prepared to meet with your AquaMarine PADI instructor by completing eLearning or purchasing an Open Water manual from your local dive shop. Alternatively, we can deliver a manual to your hotel where you can study by the pool, on the beach, or under a convenient mango tree!
The PADI Open Water Course and PADI Junior Open Water Diver Courses are your ticket to dive anywhere at any time. Once you discover how easy and fun scuba diving is, you’ll want to share it with friends and family. Bring them along to try our special 1 Day Introductory Adventure Diving Programme, or the PADI Scuba Diver or Junior Open Water courses.
For you, the PADI Open Water or PADI Junior Open Water Diver, your next step will be PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver.
